Steve Young Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Young in Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Young and Monjoy Young (Sandlin); and his brothers, Robert Young Jr., Mike Young, James Eric Young and Richard Young.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Young, Hunter Young (Macey), Levi Young (Jessica) and Brooke Hansen; and his siblings, Lora Eversole (John), Bonnie Perry, Thelma Kennedy (Curtis), Darlene Wilson (Charlie Turner), Rose Pierson (Sean), Bobby Joe Young (Shirley), Gary Lynn Young (Paula) and Neal Young. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 nieces & nephews, many cousins, and other loving family members, and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marshall Family Cemetery.
