She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Reed Lewis, Sr. and Sara Garnett Hutcherson Lewis; her son Casey Sparrow; and her brother Charles Reed "Buddy" Lewis, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Roger Sparrow; her sons, Kyle Sparrow (Jaime), Cory Sparrow (Rachel) and Kip Sparrow; her grandchildren, Austin Sparrow (Lauren), Kylie, Taylor, Micah, Jay and Shelby; her daughter-in-law Lisa Sparrow; and her siblings-in-law, Toni Lewis and Richard Sparrow (Renelle).

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or Bluegrass Hospice Care.
