It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theressa LaFontaine (Frankfort, Kentucky), who passed away on April 28, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Barker and Clara Barker; and her children, Timothy LaFontaine, Bobby Barker, Josie McKinney and Sonny Barker.
She is survived by: her sisters, Bette McKinney (Chester) and Carolyn Cox; her children, Tessa Buquid (Honorio) and Terry LaFontaine (Linda); and her grandchildren, Jude Buquid (Maggie), Sarah Jordan (James), Jenny LaFontaine and Teri Aydt (Jon). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice) or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
