She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Wright Young and Virginia Gertrude Smith Young; and her brother James Curtis Young. She is survived by: her husband William I. Dawkins; her son William Gregory "Greg" Dawkins; her sister Brenda Ann Rogers (Jimmy); her siblings-in-law, Charles Dawkins (Betty) and Mary Ann O'Brien; her sibling's children, Jamie Young, Cathy Powell, Sharon Miller, Marian Young, Shirley Young, Michael Dawkins, Mary Helen Woods, David Dawkins, Jamie O'Brien and Laurie Leslie O'Brien Collins; and her cousins, Gayle A. Woods and Jane Evans.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Chapel (3250 Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel (3250 Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601).
