He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Edwards and Gladys Jewell Harrod Smith; his wife Donna Jane Cravens Edwards; and his brothers, William Earl Edwards and Earl Douglas Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Edwards (Yvonne), Paul Edwards (Christie), David Edwards (Donna) and Anita Monroe Lawson (Earl); his sister Anna Rae Rutoskey; and his grandchildren, Alex, Jeremy, Grace, Jacob, Kathryn, Kayla, Justin and Brianna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
