He was predeceased by: his father William Sutherland; his daughter-in-law Regina Sutherland; his brothers, Richard Sutherland and J. B. Sutherland; and his grandson Jared Allen Sutherland.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Tackett, Brad Sutherland (Michelle) and Chris Sutherland; his sisters, Laura Jane Sutherland and Joyce Cooper (Calvin); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Wesley, Devin, Mason, Erin, Kandis and Abigail. He is also survived by his 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
