He was predeceased by: his parents, William Samuel Briscoe and Margaret Bell Thompson Briscoe. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Briscoe; his sons, Billy Briscoe (Carla), Mike Briscoe (Ashley) and Bobby Briscoe; his brothers, Davis Briscoe (Mary Jane) and Larry Briscoe (Barbara); his grandchildren, Madison Thurman (JT) and Hannah Briscoe (John); and his great grandchild Jackson Thurman.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church.
