It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Jean Smith of Franklin, Kentucky, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 4, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Earl Crafton and Ruby Graves Crafton; her husband Kenneth Smith; and her daughter Sharon Dixon. She is survived by : her son Gary Smith of Franklin; and her grandchildren, Tanya Haney, Kenny Dixon (Mary Ruth), Billy Smith (Patty) and Jeff Smith (Connie). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 6:00 AM at the Crafton Funeral Home (512 E Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
