He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Wilson Blakeman, Sr. and Mary Helen Robertson Blakeman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Leora Kessler Blakeman; his children, Jason Blakeman (Beth), Sarah Lagermann (Steve) and Lee Blakeman (Amanda) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Wilson Blakeman, Ashton Maines (Kyle), Jaren Blakeman, John Lagermann, Anne Blakeman, Peter Lagermann, Matthew Blakeman, Abigail Blakeman and Anna Blakeman; his brother Barry Blakeman of Greensburg; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Overley of Lexington and Connie Kessler of Greensburg. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richpond Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rich Pond Baptist Church (200 Brad Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42104).
