He was predeceased by: his parents, Suter Craigmyle and Ethel Samford Craigmyle; his wife Rita Ogburn Craigmyle; his siblings, Elizabeth Wilson (Don), Ollie Dean Butcher (Johnny) and Johnny Craigmyle (Patricia Ogburn Craigmyle); his brother-in-law Lusby; his brother Paul Craigmyle; his nephew Michael Butcher; his niece Venessa Craigmyle Duke; his son Monty Frank Craigmyle; his daughter-in-law Shauna; and his granddaughters, Ashlyn and Moriah Schweitzer.

He is survived by: his sister Betty Craigmyle Lusby; his in-laws, Barbara Griffin Craigmyle and Debra Ogburn Perry (Harry); and his brother-in-law Rodney Ogburn (Addie Ogburn).
