She was predeceased by: her father Edward William Carter; and her siblings, Gloria Ann Carter, Myrtle Alberta Carter and Edward William Carter, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Kevin Lamont Massey of Franklin, KY. and Dion Massey of Franklin, KY.; her mother Peggy Adkerson; her sister Brenda Joyce Carter of Nashville, TN; and her cousins, Delphine Whitaker "Sister Cousin" of Madison, TN and LaCarlos Hall of Gallatin, TN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
