He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakley Cassity and Edith Mae Cassity (King); his sons, Terry Lee Cassity and Donnie Allen Cassity; his brothers, Bobby Gene Cassity and Paul Cassity; his grandson Kyle Wilson Cassity; and his great grandchild John Rimmel.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Cassity; his children, Troy Cassity (Heather) of Franklin, KY, Tracy Cassity (Debra) of Rockfield, KY and Lisa Luongo of Franklin, KY; and his siblings, Harold Cassity of Franklin, KY, Faye Forshee of Franklin, KY and Linda Link (Teddy) of Huntington Beach, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
