He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Knupp and Dorothy Knupp (Reed); his wife Patricia Knupp; and his siblings, Katherine Burdick, Bobby, Jack, Doug and Virgil Knupp.
He is survived by: his sons, Donnie Knupp, Jr. (Kelly) of Hendersonville, TN and Daniel Knupp (Michelle) of Kernersville, NC; his grandchildren, Erika Kay (Jeff), Emily Hoagland (Landen), Ashley Trimble, Ethan, Max and Grace Knupp; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Finley, Noah Kay, Cooper and Emma Hoagland; his close friend Sue Glodo; and his siblings, Linda Wilson, Rita Raney, Pat Hart and Morty Knupp. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
