She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Rivas and Anita Rivas; her sisters, Belia Williams, Genoveva Castillo, Consuelo Anguiano and Rosa Kelly; and her brothers-in-law, Leonard Anguiano, Aurelio Castillo and James Dow.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Julie Monts), Justin (Sarah Monts) and Julian (Shannon Chan); her grandchildren, Austin, Penny, Brandon, Cody, Tanner, Odin and Mary; and her sisters, Eva Young, Flora Padilla and Elizabeth Dow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
