He was predeceased by: his parents, George Estel Richmond and Berthal Richmond (Calvert); his wife Wilma "Peggy" Richmond; and his son Gene Austin Richmond, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Marcina Dorton; his grandchildren, Brittany, Jared, Courtney and Roger; his great grandchildren, River and Elizabeth Rose; and his siblings, Freda Pennington and Fred Richmond.
