He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Herbert Crabtree (E. H.) and Lettie Clarice Crabtree (Binkley); his wife Anita C. Crabtree; and his siblings, Ernest Crabtree, Ophis Crabtree and Ann Pratt.
He is survived by: his sons, George O. Crabtree, Jr. (Buddy), Jeff Crabtree (Pam) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Brent Crabtree (Tara) of Russellville, Kentucky and Scott Crabtree (Kim) of Franklin, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Amanda Robey (Adam), Ashley Granato (Jared), Andrea Uhlenhopp (Nick), Morgan Vick (John), Emily Crabtree and Katie Crabtree; and his siblings, Shirley Butler, Linda Crabtree, Donna Bruce and Larry Crabtree. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
