He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Robey and Emma Jane Turner Robey; his children, Grider Turner Robey, Jr. and Greta Robey; and his siblings, Joe Neely Robey and Katherine Robey.

He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Coleman (Michael) of Bowling Green, Priscilla Faye Watt (Russell) of Antioch, Cecillia Edwards (Calvin) of Florida and Rona Robey of Franklin; and his brother Wayne Robey of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and his nieces.
