He was predeceased by : his parents, Holt Bailey and Gladys Booth Bailey; and his siblings, Marvin, Dennis, Larry Bailey and Wanda Meiners.

He is survived by : his wife Dory Bailey; his daughters, Tina Gardner (Dale) of Illinois and Cathy Trotti (Ned) of Mississippi; his grandson Scott Gardner; and his siblings, John, Dale, Carlos, Clarence Bailey, Betty Duncan, Sara Lynn Smith, Janet Beasley and Donna Lou Campbell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
