He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Lynn Banton of Chicago, Shawn Kelly Banton (Melissa) of Smiths Grove and Adrian Courtney Banton (Dana) of Franklin; his siblings, Joe Banton (Phyllis) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Bennie Gregory of Franklin; his grandchildren, Ashlann Dawn Halasz, Jolly Marie Kelly-Banton, Benjamin Courtney Banton, Griffin Courtney Banton and Emerson Verlee Banton; and his great grandchild Gracie Taylor.
