He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ann Fleming Copas; his nephew Justin Copas; his in-laws, Ed and Sarah Barlow; and his close friend Dakota.
He is survived by: his husband Ed Barlow; his father Eddie B. Copas (Penelope); and his sister-in-law Beth Barlow Wright (Aubrey) of Dallas.
