He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewing Boyd and Dora P. Eldridge Boyd; his siblings, Betty Sue Pirkle, Jimmy Boyd, Gilbert Boyd, Willie Boyd and Bobby Boyd; and his son Jeffrey James Eversole.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lee Roberts Boyd; his children, Barbara Jane Denning, Timothy Ross Eversole (Jennifer), Jamie Lee Tuck, Lynna Ann Norwood (Andy) and Gary'Duey'Eversole (Michele); and his brother Jackie Boyd (Rena). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
