She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lester Atkinson and Eleanora West Atkinson. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Terry Spears; and her cousins, Robin Edwards and Jamie Sanders.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103).
