She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Covington (Wolfe) and Maron Covington; her husband Essie Lee Embry; and her siblings, Betty Gregory and Margarett Martin.

She is survived by: her son Brian Beechum of Franklin, KY; and her pet Lucy Lou.
