She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh E. Watwood and Irene Holman Watwood. She is survived by: her siblings, Jackie Watwood of Owensboro, Eddie Watwood (Teresa), Roger Watwood (Holly) and Janice Buttrey (Ron) of Franklin, Tennessee; her children, James E. Muffett (Margot) of Lansing, Michigan and Cheryl Fuqua (Ron) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Christopher Muffett (Jennifer), Lauren Lawson (Mike), Emily Baumann (Tyler), Bradley Fuqua (Samantha), Jason Muffett (Kenna Ehman), Justin Muffett (Brianna Kocka) and Joel Muffett (Rachel Curtis). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
