He was predeceased by : his parents, Garland Davis and Hazel Sue Perry Gregory; the mother of his children Jeannie Gregory; his brother Mickey Gregory; and his wife Teresa Russell Gregory of Franklin.

He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Ogles (Brad) of Franklin, Stephanie Jones (Marty) of Franklin and Richard Gregory (Amberly) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Trinity Smith (Tyler), Brantley Ogles, Brady Jo Ogles, Emeri Harris, Averi Harris, Chase Harris, Addison Gregory and Rennick Gregory; his great grandchildren, Dayton Gray, Dawson Gray and Fallon Provost; his siblings, Debbie Hicks, Paula Bradley, Dale Gregory and Gaye Shoulders; and his stepchildren, Jill Slaughter (Nelson), Johnathan Marsh (Andrea), Matt Marsh (Megan), Robert Alford (Rhonda), Eric Alford (Fallon) and Kendra Hanson (Justin). He is also survived by Several step-grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 4:00 PM and on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 6:00 AM at the Crafton Funeral Home (512 E Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
