He is survived by: his wife Kay McCarty; his children, Ron McCarty (Angela), Kirk Wimpee (Christi Roberts) and Audrey Sprowles (Adam); his grandchildren, Brittney Domsch, Timothy Wimpee (Haley), Samantha Brock (Trace), Gabbie Perdue (Jimmy), Allyssa Butts, Ayden Sprowles, Alex Sprowles and Austin Sprowles; his great grandchildren, Jayce Brock, Laklan Wimpee and Aurora Wimpee; his siblings, Nancy Kay McCarty, Gary McCarty and Paula McCarty Thomas; and his pet Goldie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
