He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Roy Gann and Lucille Gant Gann; and his siblings, J. W. Gann, Larry Gann, Curt Gann, Mark Gann and Malinda Connor.
He is survived by: his close friend Deborah Whitis Gann; and his children, Rhonda Laney of Franklin, Billy "Fud" Gann of Franklin, Curtis "Chubby" Gann of Franklin, Collin Johnson of Franklin and Hilary Johnson of Indianapolis. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
