It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Estell Ranburger of Franklin, Kentucky, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ranburger and Geneive Ranburger (Sosh); his wife Ophelia Henson Ranburger; and his siblings, Jackie Ranburger, Larry Ranburger, Dean Ranburger, Wilma Gass, Dorothy Johnson Gregory and Ida Ranburger Johns (Debbie) of Franklin, KY.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Dyer (Don) of Woodburn, KY, Tamara Eadens (Paul) of Franklin, KY and Trent Ranburger of Lucas, KY; his grandchildren, Justin Dyer (Jaimie), Jacob Dyer (Kati Dinkens), Jenna Jones (Dylan), Taylor Gomer, Alex Eadens (Madi), Jazmine Anderson and Jaxson Ranburger; and his sister Brenda Graves (David) of Franklin, KY. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory (325 W Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Greenlawn Cemetery (420 Cemetery St, Franklin, KY 42134).
