He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Louise Jackson Smith, J. B. and Lois Babb Carner. He is survived by: his parents, Jim Carner and Rose Carner; his sisters, Dina Byers (Chuck) and Joni Phelps (Randy); and his nieces and nephews, Emily Barrett, Ainsley Byers, Zachary Barrett (Alaina), Justin Phelps and Mason Byers. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
