He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Sullivan and Hattie Sullivan (Prater); his daughter Denise Elaine Dove; and his sisters, Bessie Adkins and Pearl Sullivan.

He is survived by : his brother Harold Sullivan; his wife Ida Jean Sullivan; his children, Marty Sullivan (Sandy) of Phelps, KY, Janene Smith of Freeburn, KY and Julie Stiltner (Dean) of Greenback, TN; his great-nephew Danny Ray Sullivan (Angela) of Sophia, NC.; his grandchildren, Jacob Sullivan, Justin Dove, Steven Sullivan, Dillon Stiltner, Dakota Smith, Rebekah Sullivan Gooslin, Sarah Smith Bateman, Meghan Smith Browning and Cassidy Smith Hunt; and his stepgranddaughters, Amanda and Erica.
