She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hale and Opal Peyton Hale; her husband Billy Gene Welch; her son Mitchell Welch; her sister Elizabeth Lawson; and her half-siblings, Frances Bush, Esta Mamis Patrick, Imogene Little, Paul Hale, Beryl Carpenter, Alverna McPherson, Roger Hale and Lorene Deposter.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy (Tony Bailey), Kenneth (Mandy Welch), Bonnie (John Workman) and Billy Gene Welch Jr. Fifteen; her grandchildren, Latisha Lane, Brittany Welch, Ashley Byrd, Ken Welch, June Welch, Jennifer Wadsworth, Tristan Welch, Amelia Welch, Cassandra Cox, Tiffany Meeks, Mitchell Welch, Walter Welch, William Welch, Sara Workman and John Boy Workman; and her siblings, John Hale, Charlie Hale, Dean Hale, Joyce Bromwell and Patricia McVey.
