He is survived by: his wife Judy McPherson Brooks; his children, Glenn Brooks Jr. (Jennifer Brooks), Kimberly Royal (Ray Royal), Derrick Brooks (Alisha Brooks) and Jonathan Brooks (Kennah Noble); his mother-in-law Cristine McPherson; his siblings, Charles (Leslie Brooks), Rondel (Debra Brooks), Jeannie (Perry Patrick), Betty (Ricky Townsend), Dorothy Risner, Darlene (Jimmy Watkins), Teresa Risner and Leslie (Billy Scott); and his grandchildren, Nathaniel Brooks, Megan Martin, Jordan Brooks, Ethan Patton, Trinton Brooks, Cody Brooks, Janelle Brooks, Damon Brooks and Bravely Brooks.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Menifee Home For Funerals (P. O. Box 98 847 Highway 36, Frenchburg, KY 40322). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
