He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Lee Smith; his parents, Wiley F. Smith and Elizabeth Smith (Lizzie Fox); and his siblings, Gordon Smith, Gertrude Thomas and Elizabeth Igo.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Henry (James) and Sharion Mullins (Ronnie); his stepson Tom Hunt Jr. (Pat Hunt); his grandchildren, Kim Halsey (Scotty Halsey), Jamie Fraley (Danny Fraley) and Scott Mullins (Erica Mullins); and his close friends, Scotty, Susan Johnson and Marlene Wilson. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Menifee Home For Funerals (P. O. Box 98 847 Highway 36, Frenchburg, KY 40322). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
