With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucian Wilson in Frenchburg, Kentucky, who passed away on February 21, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lucian had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Lucian may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his pet Minnie Frances Peters (Cole); his former wife Carolyn Wilson; his brothers, Jimmy and Robert Wilson; and his granddaughter Cara Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Charles Wilson of Lexington, KY, Lucinda C. Smith of Michigan and Clarissa R. Hind of Arizona. He is also survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Jonathan Wilson Cemetery Fund.
