He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lee and Ruby Helen Penix; his children, Todd Penix and Nicole Vanzant; and his siblings, Jerry Penix, Sandy Vaccariello and Candy Stafford.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Marie Richardson Penix; his brother Michael Penix; and his grandchildren, Carter Vanzant, Bella Penix and Colt Penix. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lovely & Amburgey Cemetery.
