He was predeceased by: his parents, Oin Bird and Margaret Louise Bird; and his mother-in-law Truitt (Margaret Lawson). He is survived by: his wife Alma Bird; his children, Matthew Bird, David Bird (Amanda Stegall), Truitt Bird, Elizabeth Bird and Devon Bird; and his brothers, Chris Bird, Harrison Bird and Oin Bird Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
