With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Burns of Fulton, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harrison and Christine Luker Burns (Maddox); his son Robert H. Burns, III; and his brother James Luker. He is survived by: his wife Kay Burns (Ferguson) of Fulton, Kentucky; his daughter Jenny Lee Burns Gilliand; his son-in-law Kip of Union City; his son Joseph Alan Burns; his daughter-in-law Brandy of Fulton, Kentucky; his siblings, Faye Isbell of Union City and George Burns of Union City; and his grandchildren, Abbie Gilliand Hawks (Frank), Heather Gilliand Hendon (Kelly), Joseph Alan Burns, Jr. (Jenna), Robert William Burns (Erika), Michael Burns and Brandyn Burns. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
