He was predeceased by : his parents, Mamie Asbell and Willie A. Scearce. He is survived by : his children, Barry Scearce (Cindy) of Franklin, Tennessee and Dena Benson-Scearce (April) of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandsons, Jack Scearce of Franklin, Alex Scearce of Orono and Hudson Benson-Scearce of Nashville, Tennessee.; and his wife Anita Gail Dedmon.
