It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Slayden of Fulton, Kentucky, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Tony shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Tony farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Slayden and Edna Slayden; and his wife Aletha Tegethoff Slayden. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Slayden Jackson (John) of Fulton, KY and Laura Slayden Hogue (Tommy) of Athens, AL; his grandchildren, Taylor Jackson Greer (Will) of Hickman, KY, Mackenzie Hogue and Samuel Hogue of Athens, AL; and his great grandchild Emmitt Greer of Hickman, KY..
