He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Capitella and Angelo Capitella. He is survived by: his children, Daniel V. Capitella and Andrea M. Capitella; his grandson Bryson D. Capitella; his sister Adele Liu (late Paul Liu); and his nieces, Angela and Rebecca Liu.
