He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Reed Dowty Sr. and Bonnie Sue Criner Dowty. He is survived by: his wife Pam Sutton Dowty of Fulton, KY; his daughter Casey Dowty of Franklin, TN; and his sisters, Lynda Hall (Mike) of Hamilton, AL and Mary Gwynne McDaniel (Larry) of Corinth, MS..
