He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Reed Dowty Sr. and Bonnie Sue Criner Dowty. He is survived by: his wife Pam Sutton Dowty of Fulton, KY; his daughter Casey Dowty of Franklin, TN; and his sisters, Lynda Hall (Mike) of Hamilton, AL and Mary Gwynne McDaniel (Larry) of Corinth, MS..
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Parkway Church of Christ (1301 Middle Rd, Fulton, KY 42041). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memphis Memory Gardens (6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134).
