She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Theodore and Vernease Cook (Grigg); her husband William Harlan Carder; and her siblings, Jeanette Lee Childers and Edward Theodore Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Leanna Allen (Keith) of Lafayette, Tennessee and William H. "Little Bill" Carder of Gamaliel; her grandchildren, Luci McKenna Stanley (Collin) of Martin, Kade Carder Allen of Lafayette and Callie Marie Carder of Nashville; and her siblings, Juanita Horton Scott (Hollis) of Myrtle Beach, Marjorie Ray Abbott (Kevin) of Big Canoe, Sheila Vernease Robertson (Mike) of Wendell, Danny Pace and Jerry Anderson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gamaliel Baptist Church or to the Gamaliel Cemetery in memory of Mrs. Kitty.
