He was predeceased by: his mother Bethel SloneSisters-Patty Gibson (Barbara SloneSpecial); and his parents-in-law, Gladys (Pete) and Arthur Slone. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Slone; his children, Gary Brent Slone (Kristi) and Karla Raenell Epling (Gerald); his grandchildren, Raylan Archer Garrison Epling, Lincoln Arthur Joseph Hignite, Jason Epling, Keyleigh Johnson, Kassidi Slone, Kynzie "Myrtle" Johnson, Kambree Slone, Kynleigh Epling and Kaydri Slone; his brothers, Demp Slone (Nadine), Bob Slone (Linda) and Wayne Slone (Kim); and his siblings-in-law, Jessica Hignite (Jeffrey), Racine Childers (Randy) and Verla MullinsHost (Delynn).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Services (619 Hindman Bypass, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
