He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Childers and Gail Pratt Childers. He is survived by: his children, Tadge Childers (Patricia), Andi Slone (Dion) and Torrey Cornett (Matthew); his sister Paula Rollins; and his grandchildren, Ava Slone, Brady Slone, Sawyer King and Waelyn Cornett. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Hindman Chapel (125 Parks Rd, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
