It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Shell of Garrard, Kentucky, who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Shell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles "G. B." Shell and Georgia Speaks Shell; and his sister Terry Shell Brown. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Adkins Shell of Lancaster; his children, Giles Shell (Nattlie) of Paint Lick, Jonathan Shell (Brooke) of Lancaster and Elizabeth Kline (Tim) of Owensboro; his stepchildren, Micheal Collins of Lancaster, Kenneth Moberly (Claudia) of Lexington and Michelle Gresik (Jade) of Nicholasville; his niece Jamie Lynn Kiper of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Jaxson Shell, Reagan Shell, Braeden Shell, Lydia Shell, Gracelyn Shell, Brianna Shell, Andrew Kiper, Grady Kiper, Evelyn Kline, Eleanor Kline, Esther Kline, Phillip Kline, Michael Kline, Gabriel Melcher, Serenity Melcher, Kitana Jayd Smith, Saban Smith-Owens and Talie Smith-Owens; and his great grandchild Jabrice King Dawson.
