He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burchett and Susan Gillespie Burchett; his wife Laura Burchett; and his children, Billy Burchett, George Burchett, Henry Burchett and Edna Burchett.
He is survived by: his sons, James Burchett of Hueysville, Kentucky and Bradis Burchett. He is also survived by 21 Grandchildren & A Host of Great Grandchildren; A Host of Nieces, Nephews.
