She was predeceased by: her husband Waldo "W. C." Asher; her parents, James William Bruin and Lorraine Brandenburg Williams; and her siblings, Allen Keith Bruin, Regina Seagriff and April Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Renee George (JW) of Bandera, TX, Daniel Shane Asher (Kim Northern) and Brittany LaMara Key (Nick); her sisters, Sue Williamson and Robyn Taylor; and her grandchildren, Dalilah Marley, Zoe Key and Sophia Key.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
