Bias Sidney Tilford Sr. Obituary

In the vast expanse of eternity, Bias shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bias farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bias Tilford Sr. and Ernestine Brock Tilford-Harris. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tilford; and his sons, Barry Tilford and Bradley Tilford. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bias made a lasting contribution to the Black press as a photographer for the Louisville Defender, working out of its Bluegrass Lexington office.
