She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whaley and Mary Gay Whaley; her siblings, Bennie Whaley, Raymond Whaley, Pauline Ritchie and Leoda Cook; and her grandson Cody Shearer.

She is survived by: her sons, Doug Marshall (Dianne), Danny Ray Marshall (Deanna) and Jeffrey Marshall; her grandchildren, Julie Duncan (Russell), Rebecca Wallace (J. R.), Billy Ray Marshall (Amber), Jessica Marshall, Bryant Marshall and Jason Shearer; her great grandchildren, Carleigh Mullins, Robert Mullins, Tate Duncan, Trace Duncan, Ainsley Marshall, Gentry Marshall and Ty Shearer; and her niece Mary Katherine Cropper.
