We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Carrie Elizabeth Hoffman (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Vevay, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Humphrey James and Louisa McFarland James; her husband Porter Hoffman; and her siblings, George, Harold, John, Lewis James and Mary Landon.
She is survived by: her stepson John T. Hoffman; and her sisters, Bonnie Lynn and Betty Clifton (Charles). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home (320 W Main St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carrie's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
